Technical support

WordPress technical support

White screen, critical error, site stuck after an update, plugins fighting each other: when WordPress jams, you need someone who knows exactly where to put their hands — right away, and without signing up for a contract.

Fixotron support works like a garage: you bring the site in, we diagnose it for free, we tell you what's wrong and what the repair costs. You decide whether to go ahead.

Problems we fix every week

A few of the most common breakdowns that come into the workshop:

  • White screen of death (WSOD) or "There has been a critical error on this website"
  • Site broken after a WordPress, theme, Elementor or plugin update
  • Database connection errors or 500 / 503 errors
  • Layout breaking on mobile or after a change
  • Site emails not being sent, or landing in spam
  • WooCommerce issues: blocked checkout, orders not coming through
  • Being locked out of the admin dashboard

How it works: diagnosis → quote → repair

The process is simple and surprise-free. You describe the problem through the form or the diagnostic chat; within 48 hours (a few hours for emergencies) we analyse the site and send you the diagnosis with a clear, final quote. Only after your go-ahead do we intervene, working on a staging copy whenever possible so the live site is never at risk.

When the work is done we explain what had happened and what we did — in plain language, not jargon. If the problem was a symptom of something deeper, we tell you straight.

One-off fix or ongoing support?

A one-off intervention is perfect for a single breakdown: you pay for the repair and that's it. But if your site matters to your business, the right question is a different one: what does every day of a broken site cost you?

With a WordPress maintenance plan most breakdowns never happen in the first place: managed updates, ready backups, active monitoring. And when support is needed, maintenance clients get priority and small fixes already included in the fee. If your problem is slowness, look at speed optimization instead: the two jobs are often done together.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a WordPress support intervention cost?

The diagnosis is free: after the analysis you receive a clear, final quote. The cost depends on the type of fault, and you always know it before giving us the go-ahead.

How fast do you respond?

We answer every request within 48 hours; emergencies (site down or hacked) are taken on within a few hours.

Do you work directly on the live site?

Whenever possible we work on a staging copy, and we always take a backup before intervening: the production site is never at risk.

The problem appeared after an update: can you roll it back?

Yes: we identify the update that caused the conflict, restore the working version and resolve the incompatibility so you can safely update again.
