What data we collect

Contact form: name, email, site address, request type and optional message.

FIXOTRON-DIAG chat: the conversation text and the data you choose to provide (problem, site address, email).

Technical data: IP address and essential logs, used exclusively for security and abuse prevention (rate limiting).

Why we process it and on which legal basis

To answer your service request and prepare a quote: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR). No separate consent is required to reply to you.

For service security and abuse prevention: legitimate interest of the controller (art. 6.1.f GDPR).

We do not use your data for marketing without your separate consent and we do not perform profiling.

The AI chat and Anthropic

Conversations with FIXOTRON are processed through Anthropic's APIs for the sole purpose of understanding your request and pre-filling the service ticket. Anthropic acts as a sub-processor.

Via API, conversation contents are not used by Anthropic to train its models. Any transfer outside the EU is covered by the applicable safeguards (EU-US Data Privacy Framework / standard contractual clauses).

Please do not enter sensitive data in the chat (health, opinions, etc.): it is not needed to diagnose your site.

How long we keep your data

Service requests are kept for as long as needed to handle them and, in case of a business relationship, for legal obligations. If no follow-up occurs, they are deleted within 12 months.

Technical logs are kept for a short, predetermined period.

Who can see your data

Only the controller and the technical providers necessary for the service: hosting/CDN Cloudflare, Anthropic (AI chat), Resend (email delivery). No data is sold or transferred to third parties for their own purposes.

Cookies

This site uses technical cookies only (language preference). There are no profiling cookies or third-party trackers: for this reason no consent banner is shown.

Should analytics or marketing tools requiring consent be introduced in the future, this page and consent management will be updated before their activation.

Your rights

You can exercise at any time the rights provided by artt. 15-22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, by writing to info@fixotron.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
